A Memorable evening with Judy Garland.

An evening I will never forget happened in 1969, when I was invited to see Judy Garland sing at The Talk of The Town in Londons West End.
I was lucky enough to be sitting in the centre of the front row of tables right under the stage, within touching distance of Judy as she sang.
Judy Garland was in the middle of a wonderful performance, when suddenly she froze. Her good friend the cabaret artist Danny La Rue siting at the next table instantly realised what was needed, jumped up on the stage, put his arm around her and whispered in her ear.
They both at down on the stage and she immediately came back to life. He returned down to his table and Judy carried on with the show, to the end, as if nothing had ever happened.
An incredible event to witness and I remember it as if it was yesterday.
