Club Scallywag recreates the atmosphere

of the 60’s basementclubs of

London’s West End, when

dancing to great live music in an

intimate space was the norm.

An evening with your girl, your wife,

your mistress or someone you met

in the club that night. It was a time

when you spent time with your

partner, getting to know each other,

enjoying each other or rediscovering

each other, creating memories that

would last a lifetime.

The top artists we love to bring you

are musicians who enjoy playing an

intimate venue and interacting with

the audience in a way that will have

you leaving just wanting more.

The story for Mr Scallywag began

back then as his grandmother

had a club in the heart of Mayfair.

After being ‘asked to leave’ an

expensive boarding school, he left

home to live in Notting Hill and began

to frequent the basement nightlife of

London until by chance he got

a job as a DJ in a club not 100yds

from his grandmothers club.

Going on to manage one of the most

famous discotheques of the time, 

along with six others. And so the 

journey began, and those superb

times and memories have stuck all

through the years until the creation

of Scallywag in Tunbridge Wells.

 

For those of you who never came and

enjoyed the many special evenings 

there, it was filled with so many special

moments and memories created by

very talented artists together with

some incredible local talent that we 

watched grow through those times.

 

After years in interior design, antiques

and furnishings in the UK and USA,

life turns full circle and here we are now,

for your pleasure, back to bring you out

for evenings of sheer enjoyment, with

an ambience of low lighting, cocktails,

dining, dancing, creating memories,

and most importantly leave, wanting MORE.
